The KREWE OF SLIDELLIANS will parade on January 25, as stated in the 2015 Mardi Gras Guide, and not on the 18th, which this website incorrectly posted. We apologize for the error.

Carnival's oldest gay club, the KREWE OF PERTONIUS announced the cancellation of its ball for 2015. The group hopes to return in 2016.

At the Mayor’s Mardi Gras Advisory Committee meeting yesterday, NOPD once again stated that no parade routes will be affected by construction on Jefferson or Napoleon Avenues. However, parade-goers on the neutral ground along Napoleon will have only about five feet to stand between the street and the fenced-off construction zone. No ladders will be permitted.
